"Whirly" is the eighth in the series of weather picture books "Weather Tales" - a picture book on the topic of meteorology. Their goal is to educate - bring some frequently mentioned meteorological terms closer to children, so that they can later better understand and benefit from meteorological information, especially in this era of increasingly obvious climate changes and global warming.
The topic of "Whirly" is a whirlwind - tornado, waterspout, vihor - what it is and why, how, when and where it occurs, how long it lasts, what consequences it can have, where it most often appears, what we should do when we notice it or face it, does it have anything to do with a whirlpool in the water and a tsunami..
