"Misty" is the ninth in the series of weather picture books "Weather Tales" - a picture book on the topic of meteorology. Their goal is to educate - bring some frequently mentioned meteorological terms closer to children, so that they can later better understand and benefit from meteorological information, especially in this era of increasingly obvious climate changes and global warming.
In "Misty" children join young Klara and her friends to discover what fog is, how and where different types of fog typically form, why it can be dangerous, and what kind of clothing to wear in foggy conditions. They also learn when it might be good to "fog things up", "clear the fog", "vanish into the fog" or "peddle fog" — but also why one shouldn't feel "foggy" or "rush blindly into the fog"...
"Misty" is not only a picture story, but also has rebuses, anagrams, crosswords, and even a colouring book.
